Lycamobile US APN Settings for Android Internet GPRS HTC

Lycamobile US APN Settings for Android | Samsung | Nexus | HTC Internet GPRS

In the Menu go to Settings -> Wireless & networks-> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names -> add New APN and key the following settings

Internet APN Settings :
Name : Lyca US
APN : data.lycamobile.com
Proxy : <Not Set>
Port : <Not Set>
Username : lmus
Password : plus
Server : <Not Set>
MMSC : <Not Set>
MMS Proxy : <Not Set>
MMS Port : <Not Set>
MCC : <Not Set>
MNC : <Not Set>
Authentication type : <Not Set>
APN Type : defaul

Gogole Nexus:
Name: lycamobile
APN: data.lycamobile.com
username: lmus
password: plus
MMSC: leave blank
MMS Proxy: disable
MMS Port:
APN type:
webpage:www.lycamobile.us

HTC touch:
Account Name: lycamobile
Homepage: http://www.lycamobile.us" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
User Name: lmus
Pass:plus
Access Point Settings:data.lycamobile.com
Proxy: disabled
Proxy Address:
Proxy Port:
Data Bearer: Packet Data
Bearer Settings:
Packet Data Access Point: data.lycamobile.com
Network type: IPV4
Authentication: normal
User Name: lmus
Password: plus

Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000:
Tap Applications
Tap Settings (located on the second page)
Tap Wireless and network
Tap Mobile networks
Tap Access Point Names
Press the Menu key
Tap New APN: data.lycamobile.com
Tap Name then tap the text box and enter lycamobile then tap OK
Tap APN then tap the text box and enter data.lycamobile.com
Tap Username then tap the text box and enter lmus then tap OK
Tap Password then tap the text box and enter password: plus then tap OK
Highlight APN type and tap
Tap APN type then tap internet (so a green dot appears next to it)
Press the Back key five times to return to the standby screen

Thank you so much, breni, for posting these instructions. Although the 2 phone models I was dealing with were not quite the same as the ones listed, the instructions were close enough to figure it out. I wasted quite some time on the phone to Lycamobile US and got told to do all sorts of things that didn't work, but nothing to do with APN settings. You have made my day!
