In the Menu go to Settings -> Wireless & networks-> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names -> add New APN and key the following settings

Tap Wireless and network

Press the Menu key
Tap New APN: data.lycamobile.com
Tap Name then tap the text box and enter lycamobile then tap OK
Tap APN then tap the text box and enter data.lycamobile.com
Tap Username then tap the text box and enter lmus then tap OK
Tap Password then tap the text box and enter password: plus then tap OK
Highlight APN type and tap
Tap APN type then tap internet (so a green dot appears next to it)
Press the Back key five times to return to the standby screen

Although the 2 phone models I was dealing with were not quite the same as the ones listed, the instructions were close enough to figure it out. I wasted quite some time on the phone to Lycamobile US and got told to do all sorts of things that didn't work, but nothing to do with APN settings. You have made my day!
