Airtel Malawi Internet GPRS Settings for Android iPhone HTC

Automatic Internet Settings:
Send a free SMS with the word ‘ALL’ to 575 if your phone is GPRS enabled or call Customer Care on "177" to receive your settings.
Accept, install or save the settings that will be sent to your phone.

Manual Internet Settings:

1. Internet:
Account Name = Airtel Internet

Port = none (leave blank)
Username = none (leave blank)
Password = none (leave blank)
Access Point Name (APN) = internet
WAP Settings

WAP:
Account Name = Airtel WAP

IP Address = 10.150.0.142
Port = 9201
Username = none (leave blank)
Password = none (leave blank)
Access Point Name (APN) = wap

2. Airtel Malawi APN Settings for iPhone:

In the main menu -> Settings-> General Settings -> Network ->Turn ON Cellular Data ( Or Mobile Data Network)
Select Cellular Network ( Or Mobile Data Network) -> new APN and type the following data there
Cellular Data:
APN: internet
Username: Blank
Password: Blank

3. Blackberry Internet Settings:
From the main screen -> Select Options -> Advanced System Settings -> TCP IP
Enable APN Settings and enter the below mentioned apn details there
APN: internet
Username: Blank
Password: Blank

4. Airtel Malawi APN Settings for Android:
In the Menu go to Settings -> Wireless & networks-> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names -> add
New APN and key the following settings

Internet APN Settings:
Name : GPRS
APN : internet
Proxy : <Not Set>
Port : <Not Set>
Username : <Not Set>
Password : <Not Set>
Server : <Not Set>
MMSC : <Not Set>
MMS Proxy : <Not Set>
MMS Port : <Not Set>
